Story
The plot of TBMAUJ centers on Aryan Agnihotri (Shahid Kapoor), a robotics engineer and programmer, who collaborates with his aunt Urmila (Dimple Kapadia).
Urmila is the CEO of a robotics research institute whose goal is to create robots that not only improve human lives but also build friendships and interpersonal relationships with society.
Aryan rejects a number of marriage proposals from his family because he wants to be compatible with his life partner Until SIFRA (Kriti Sanon) the highly intelligent humanoid robot shows up in his life.
He falls for SIFRA as she seems to be the right match for him and soon enough introduces her to his family.
However, she is a robot with no human feelings, which is the main issue. But Aryan is in love with her and thinks she’s the one for him.
The rest of the film revolves around how this unparalleled match ends up.
TBMAUJ Review
Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi present a fresh, light-hearted, and enjoyable idea in a peculiar circumstance. The ridiculous circumstances that the human-robot couple runs into along the road are what make this story funny.
The narrative frequently finds itself running around in circles while attempting to construct the plot around the premise, despite the fact that it is unique.
The film also discusses the ethical use of AI and robotics, as well as the man vs. machine argument. This part looks hurried and ends too soon.
Many people laugh at the movie, mostly because of the characters’ responses. The conversation’s delivery and timing, particularly Aryan’s interactions with his friend and coworker Monty (Ashish Verma), who does a fantastic job pulling off his ridiculous act, are more humorous than the dialogue itself.
The romance in the film is its main selling point, and Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have incredible on-screen chemistry.
Kriti does a fantastic job in every scene where she makes a mistake in the human realm, and her poker-faced robotic performance and on-cue laughter are funny.
Performance
Kriti Sanon‘s portrayal of SIFRA is impressive; she does a commendable job of depicting the functionality of a robot.
Shahid Kapoor gives an excellent performance throughout the movie, from the heartfelt romantic scenes to the poignant family drama beats.
Despite having little on-screen time, Dharmendra brings charm, and Dimple Kapadia makes an impact as predicted.
The major performers receive capable assistance from Ashish Verma and other supporting actors.
Technical Aspects
Although Amit Joshi’s attempt at situational humor is passable, it is not entertaining enough for audiences of all ages.
Fans are left wanting more from Shahid Kapoor‘s role since he is underutilized despite his ability to carry off outstanding romantic comedies.
Although not particularly good, the background score, music, and storyline all accomplish their goals well enough. They don’t, however, have the distinctive and appealing qualities.
Conclusion
All of the stars had amazing performances, and the tale was masterfully structured, but Kriti Sanon took center stage.
Seeing Shahid as a romantic hero makes me happy. The music is good the 3D characters are well-executed, and the visual effects are respectable given the constraints and budget.
Given how fascinating the subject is, the film could be more humorous. Kudos to the team for providing a wonderful treat of a romantic, sci-fi love story.
